My History

The Law Office of Elizabeth A. Winter was founded in 1994 in response to the increasing rate of bankruptcies and dissolutions of marriages in Maricopa County. Founder, Elizabeth A. Winter, believes the best method for addressing financial restructuring, family restructuring and estate planning is through a supportive and confidential environment in which positive change can occur more readily and productively.

Bankruptcy
I offer legal counseling, advice, document preparation and representation for individuals and couples who want to explore bankruptcy options.

 

Mediation
I offer mediation services for those who are struggling with reconciliation, legal separation, dissolution of marriage, dissolution of domestic partnerships, paternity or post-decree matters. In addition, family mediation services include family differences regarding elder care, probate and family owned business matters.

 

Pre-Marital agreements and Co-Habitation Agreements
I offer legal counseling, advice and document preparation of Pre-Marital agreements for individuals who desire to create a successful pathway for a new marriage.  In addition, my services include legal counseling, advice and document preparation of Co-Habitation Agreements for individuals who desire to create a successful pathway for a new Domestic Partnership.

 

Estate Planning
I offer legal counseling, advice and document preparation of Wills, Trusts and Powers of  Attorney for individuals who desire to be pro-active in all aspects of Estate Planning.
